The Arts World Opens Its Doors Again - Are You Ready?

The countdown begins. In just a few days we will be able to enjoy indoor life again. And this means we are welcoming back art life. From May 17th onwards, museums and galleries will be opening their doors to us.

Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser at the Victoria and Albert Museum




London's most acclaimed museum opens its dreamiest exhibition on 22 May. You will be able to teleport yourself to a dream world where you will travel through film, fashion, art and more, and where, as its name suggests, everything is related to the world of Alice in Wonderland.


£20 / Members and children under 12 go free


Elisabeth Plaza, 28, who works at the V&A says: “It is crazy how you are now able to see everything that the world of Alice in Wonderland hides. This is an emerging experience that you just cannot miss.”


 

Zanele Muholi at the Tate Modern


Do not miss out on the magnificent work from acclaimed photographer Zanele Muholi in an exhibition that celebrates the lives of South Africa’s Black LGBTQIA+ community. From love and intimacy to hate and anger.


Including various series that collect over 260 photographs, Muholi celebrates the empowerment of non-binary people and trans women besides his own experience through pictures that explore topics like racism and labour in the black community. A complete exhibition you would not want to miss.

British artist and winner of a Carnegie Prize Lynette Yiadom-Boakye brings her most extensive survey to Tate Britain. These 80 puzzling portraits of fictional people will bring up to your mind questions regarding identity and representation.
